Ask any of the people involved in the recent group purchase of V8
taillights.  The center section turned out to be Euro spec, not US.
The V8 and type44 use the same taillights(save that the V8 taillights
have an outer shell of all red, with internal orange/yellow gels for
turn signals etc.)
