It is also possible to "blow" a turbo by making it spin faster much than it
was designed for. I have seen this at the VC Hillclimb a few years ago. Very
high altitude combined with too small of a turbo and too much boost causing
the turbo to spin too fast resulting in schrappnell. Not a problem for most
applications, but a high altitude combined with an overly boosted small K-24
might be bad....   Certainly another reason the good tuners decrease the
boost at high rpms.
