Howdy! I have being chatting with a very knowledgeable person about
finding proper software for the RS2 turbo, manifold, and exhaust camshaft
with the 3B. Seems this fellow has a connection in Germany that makes
software to handle this type of upgrade. The projected bhp's are around
330-340bhp and lots of added torque with a larger intercooler. With a stock
intercooler on a hot day these numbers will drop according to this fellow.
The ECU runs a 3bar setup and proper software. He also mentions that
running a slightly higher fuel pressure might help, pressed stock FPR, but
it may not be needed.
He is recommending that I run a test system with US gas on my 200q20v,
but that ain't going to happen anytime soon, since the 200q20v is now
officially totaled by Hanover insurance and the car is in NY not VT where I
am. So maybe someone wants to pilot this system? I would drop the prices
on the package kit a ton, maybe even at cost, so I could get a could handle
on what this ECU can do.
Mind you Europrice isn't here to tune cars with packages, but we are
here to get people what they need at lower prices. I personally can't offer
a guarantee on the software, it comes through an english speaking
intermediate person that I trust immensely on this topic, but again I can't
test or dyno this stuff on our budget.
Personally I would like to source software for the 3B that runs the full
RS2 compliment. Add the RS2 turbo, EM, exhaust camshaft, intake camshaft,
MAF, injectors, and the 7A 4.0bar FPR. The software would have to be ready
to handle all those parameters, but seems that no one out there offers
anything close to this for the 3B. Anyone into programming ECU's?:)
Cheers!
