there'd be much demand for cat replacements in 1 or 2-yr-old Audis. I
guess that's called planning for the future?

Weren't converters required/used for '91 Audis in Europe? If so,
perhaps they can be sourced more easily from there--although, if
possible, I'd prefer to deal locally for products where fitment
problems might occur.
