it's total cfm AT a given lift.  So your total for .400lift is 954.7....

  Depends on what one is "totaling" for.  I was look for a quick and dirty
summary of the gross variation from cylinder to cylinder, and to a limited
extent a "x-check" against my transcription of the numbers of the test sheet
correctly.
