When I installed an aftermarket radio (Blaupunkt) in a 200 w/o Bose I asked=
 the same question as the radio only had provision for a single antennae.  =
 The nearby "upper end" car audio dealer said I'd do just fine using the re=
ar (amplified) antennae.  He's been right for the past three years; no prob=
lems, fine reception.
