[200q20v] Hakka dis, hakka dat...

Thats what I did last winter. I went to the local tire guys and ordered
195/65/15 snowtires for 40-45$ each and had PLENTY of traction in the snow
we had last winter and what little has fallen this year. I didnt think I
needed to spend the extra on exotic snow tires as I'm not racing on ice or
snow... (yet :) )

Brett,

Why don't you just get one of the cheapest winter tires on the Tirerack -
$54 each for the Dunlop Graspics? I'm sure they will be just as good
(you don't have winter tires I assume?) and will save you a good amount.
My friend has a 180ttq and he loves them, I'm considering getting them
for the 200q20v in that same size 195/65R15. The Nokians might be
arguably 5% better (or worse), but are they worth paying $200 extra
dollars for? That would almost buy you another set of Graspics.
