There's a product made for painters. Stretchy cotton (I think that's the
fabric) hood with an opening for your eyes you're supposed to cover with
goggles. I've purchased them in paint stores, but you might also find them
in automotive parts stores that sell paints. They're more easily washed
than thick hair, I imagine (since mine was never curly and has been
thinning for the last 30 or so years).
