Justin,
    I think all you need to do is prove ownership and mention the recall
number (Safety recall LM - to replace rear speaker amplifiers on "some"
'91-'92 Audi 100, 200 and V8's w/Bose system).  They are required to
perform the repairs.  The letter mentioned two phone numbers to call if
the Audi dealer fails to remedy the defect free of charge -- Audi
customer relations @ (800) 822-2834 and the NHTSA @ (888) 327-4236.
 Along with the recall letter was a prepaid post card  that asked for
new owner address if known - sounds like they are making every effort to
find current owners. Good luck.
