Fellow listers,
After wiring a separate switch for the starter, I've tried starting the car
but to no avail...
Here's the situation:
-The output tests perform ok.
-There IS spark at the distributor
-FPR doesn't seem to get triggered during start-up trials
-the injectors don't seem to be triggered during start-up trials.
The only fault code recorded is 1111 (bad ECU, bad ECU grounds, checked the
grounds and they are ok, the ECU is unchipped and used to work fine in the
200)...
So now I've noticed the back of the ECU gets hot and the MAF as well...
Is this normal? Could a really bad ECU (I mean a dead one which shows a
justified 1111 fault code) trigger the ignition coil and perform the output
tests perfectly?
Thanks for your answers anyway,
Mihnea
