roof rack redux

fellow listers,  thanks for all of the suggestions about the roof rack
replacement. what everyone said was pretty much true:  dealer was no
help...i kept searching junk yards for one and wound up finding one in
mint condition about 8 miles from home on a wrecked '85 5000 wagon.
install took about ten minutes and is a vast improvement...
