Leaky Oil Sending Unit???

I have had two of these oil pressure senders fail, leaking through the body
of the sender, on my GTI. Dealer did one, I did the other so I'm not sure
if it is two of the same variety or each one has now been replaced - there
are one lower and one higher pressure switch sitting next to each other on
top of the oil filter mount on this car.

1991 200 quattro, 116k, no oily troubles yet
1988 GTI 16v, 225k, have also replaced front main seal and valve cover
gasket, ought to do distributor seal too sometime
