As I hear it, you have a vacum leak.
Have you checked codes - ISV ?
Idle rpm 800 or 1200?
Vacum at idle 0.6 or 0.4 (analogues readout)
When working behind the back of engine you could
have dismantled the IM-connection to carbon canister valve.
Take care of oil'ing your K&N. Oilmist at MAF just
spoils it.
