who wants Bilstein HDs

In my opinion Mike made a good point, but I think there are also other
variables. Degree of compromise (ie when is a shock broke), your tolerance
for that condition, and how big of a factor is that item in the overall
equation of the system. Or another way of asking the last question (for me
anyways) is whether or not it's an essential item; ie lights in the heated
seat switches. Sure they don't work but I do fine without them. Mess with
my CD player though...

Oh, and Pete, I agree with your Blau synopsis. Not only can there prices be
questionable, but like I've said before, I wonder about the quality of some
of their supplies, and I have had some less than exemplary customer
service. I do have to admit that when I replaced suspension pieces from
them, there price wasn't too bad compared to the dealership (through a
friend that used to work there), or German Part and Restoration. TPC gets
my money most every time.

You're not yet a full fledged member of the DFI if IAB club yet, but keep
trying!

Why would anyone, excepting for hire wrenches, recommend replacing the upper
strut bearings when they are so easly cleaned and relubed? Further, price
shouldn't be a factor in replacement or not, the Q is: Is it broke or not?
