To lift the back, raise the spring seat on the shock body, either with a
metal spacer below the removable lower spring seat, or by cutting new grooves
in the body of the strut to raise the hold-down point of the removable spring
seat, as appropriate.

The rubber spring seats referred to by Greg Amy was a way to corner balance
the front, and were on the top (different thicknesses available, also
refererenced on Scott Mockry's page, I believe).
