Oil in the IC hose?

Bernie,
How much scouring pad is needed- the whole thing?

Didn't the factory have something like this in the hose- I seem to
remember
that there was a piece called a "flame arrestor" in the PCV hose.

I guess your opinion is that those oil catchcans are just a waste of
money,
then?

Sure, brass or copper would work, but I don't recommend one of those
soap filled pads, nor a Kotex.
