broken sunroof

a friend and I recently troubleshooted the broken sunroof on my 84 5ks and
discovered
one of the plastic latches that guide the sunroof snapped, causing the roof
to open unevenly
and jam. I think if I ordered the piece he and I could do the repair
ourselves. Does anyone know where
I may be able to order such a piece? Junkyards are out of the question since
Audis (especially older ones) are
a rarety in my neck of the woods (there's only about 6 in my whole county).

I took it to the local Volkswagen dealer and asked them about that,
unfortunately they rudely let me know
that they "don't work on Audis." The nearest Audi dealer is 45 min away and
I'm a college student w/ a job
that requires me to drive, so I'd like to see if I can fix it on a Saturday
or something before leaving my car so
far away.

Any ideas on where/how to find the piece would be helpful. Thanks.
