Go for it! If you can do the welding in situ without burning up the car.
I started the brake debate, not you. Sorry about that.
If you want a used tie rod complete with ends, contact fellow lister
Paul Friedenberg <paulunm at msn.com> who is parting out his Arizona clean but
totaled 200Q-20V.
