Thanks to all for your valuable responses to my problem!

I am a little paranoid about driving with just a weld.  (my nature).  After 
further discussion with a good friend, I may attempt to reassemble and drill 
in one or two dowel pins for a very short term fix.  My other option is to go 
to the Mpls Armory Mon. Am and plead for permission to leave my car their 
until I can obtain parts hopefully on Tues.

Any further comments would be highly appreciated.
