Turbo problems and oil pressure

Interesting.  I need to check the axial play on my k24 -- but I'm afraid to
;-)
Hadn't heard of ceramic bearing K24, please elaborate.

As to the Oil pressure, Synthetics tend to always read a little low when at
operating temperature and at idle.  Inadequate lubrication in these motors
is quite rare since the early 1980's.  What weight oil are you using,
though?  10w30 or ?
