I torqued the new plugs I installed on my UrS4. I put the torque wrench on
them at the next oil change - they moved a bit to come up to torque. I've
checked them every oil change for the last 60k km and they haven't loosened
up at all. Now I get to start all over again - I pick up the new plugs
tomorrow :o)
Some listers have blown a plug out of the engine, destroying the associated
coil and making one heck of a mess under the plug cover. It's worth
checking the plugs every now and then - they are known to loosen up.

Can thread locker (Locktite) be used? I've also found loose plugs on my 200
and S4. #1 plug on the S4 was always loosening up, then the last time I
checked it, the threads stripped out of the head. Yikes!! Local shop fixed
it up with a heli-coil. Not that big of a deal I guess.

The 3B engine is fairly "notorious" for having the sparkplugs loosen
up--spontaneously, so to speak. I've torqued the plugs to spec, and
then later have found they'd become finger-loose" (oh, probably
within 10K). And both of my cars arrived from PO with most of their
plugs loose.
