Shock recommendations?

Considering that you can get a set of Bilstein HD for $400, I'd rather
go with
the Bilstein. IMHO, a better shock than the Boges. Don't ask for V8
shocks, they're
not going to be valved correctly for your car- the V8s are much heavier
in the front.
If you want to tighten up the ride, you really should consider
replacing:
Engine mounts
Transmission mounts
Subframe mounts, front and rear
Control arm bushings
Sway bar bushings
Strut mounts
Tie rod ends
Rear trapezoidal links
Rear control arm bushings
Pretty much all of the rubber and wear items in the suspension. That
will make a big difference
in how the car feels. Very labor-intensive, though and very expensive
therefore. Depends on if
that is worth it to you.
