Quick Story: 3k idle and solution.

Today's quickie:
Start car and idle goes - bang - to 3,000 rpm.
Not good on intital start up.  Oil in pan etc....
So I shut it down, start and again 3K.  Shut it down
Start again 3K ...........pop open hood.
Find mouse and acorn stash onto top of IM under throttle cable linkage.
Remove and Replace: Idle now 800RPM.
I guess "cracking" the gas peddle at start up (I know its fuel injected)
allowed acorn to roll under linkage and prevent it from returning to normal
idle "height/position".
Time: ~6 minutes
