- theoretically.
In practice those "slight" changes resulted in the front of the car now sitting 1/4 inch? higher than stock.
_Only_change was the 200-spec'd Bilstein HDs. Stock Springs. No issues with incorrect installation, etc.
Strut cartridges installed from above.
You're a Koni fan, right? Konis tend to be predominantly hydraulic and do not have the high pressure gas charge of the Bilsteins.
- that said, my actual experience in going from the stock Boge Gas charged struts to Koni hydraulic sports on my CQ (stock springs) resulted in an approximate 1/4 inch drop in height, using oem strut bearings (my floor jack used to easily fit under the car, now I have to remove the saddle to get it to fit under the CQ.)
