CV's Worn?

I've had a couple of bad front CV joints on SLAABS and one 4kq back when I
was paying for all mechanical services.  Each time, the sounds produced
were clicks, not clunks.  I'd be looking at subframe bushings and/or
whatever it's called at the top of the shock absorber system.
