I did the Brett thing to my squawking driver door
Bose amp ~ 8 months ago and it's been fine since.

If you want a set of caps for less than a single
set from Digikey, let me know offline. Their S&H
wasn't inexpensive but their qnty discounts were
significant so I got plenty of extras.

I also edited Brett's instructions (that I still
owe to him) so that might help you a little also.

I've also got grey speaker cloth that's a close
match to Audi's "platinum" if there's tears in
your front speaker grille, and I've got plenty
of that white fluffy stuff that goes inside the
speaker box if you need any of that.
