Replacing hydraulic hose

It looks like the hydraulic hose from the pump to the accumulator (bomb) is
weeping a bit.  I've got a replacement coming from the Parts Connection.
Any gotcha's or BTDT advice from the list?  Is this hose in 2 pieces with a
joint in between (as evidenced by the hex connection) or is it one long
piece?
