You take a big step from stage 2 to stage 3
Stage 3 you want to play 320 - 400 Hp?
Bigger turbo, injectors, FPR, MAF -
A std. RS2 turbo have some lag but if the center core
with connetions for oil and water fit - then use a kkk type.
The Garrett takes a lot of time to fit.
Be prepared too for a bigger inlet hose from
MAF to turbo and for using better brands of
hoses - if you go to 2.5Bar or more.
If you keep the boost at 2.3 you will find, that the bigger turbo have less losses = lower temp giving maybe
50 more Hp at the same boost as the IA Stage III.
But all things have to fit together.
The fuel chip have to know if you are running RS2 injectors and MAF.
I have problems with the cheramic trust bal bearings of the Garrett. After just 5.000 km I have endplay for the
second time. A k24 last 250.000 km. or more.
But R8 LMP900 use Garrett !
