Sure, Why not?  When both struts are dropped together, so one is not
fighting the other tru the antisway bar, The upper strut mountings don't
know/care what is hanging below them.

I have slotted camber plate mounting holes on several 44 chassis cars.  Then
add a strut brace (not tower brace) and one can get the camber back to zero,
where it belongs for street use with minimum tire wear.

Igor's solution is a clean, guilding of the lily solution, not requiring
slotted holes, but very expensive in time and/or money, and IMO not
necessary for the desired result.
