Coolant in Passenger Side Footwell

3 months ago I installed a new heater core in my '91 TQW -
including hoses, heater valve etc. The past few days I have
been loosing coolant, could not figure out why, and today
discovered the passenger footwell soaked with coolant. Is
the new core leaking, or is there something else going on
here. It is definitely coolant and not condensate.

This evening I opened up the scuttle, disconnected and
plugged the heater hoses, and will soon know if the new core
is leaking. Any BTDT?
