temp. guage

Does anybody know if I can jumper a ground for my temp. gauge in the instru=
ment cluster ,because it isn't working and on the advice of few listers che=
cked that it indeed (malfunction) is not caused by  the mfs or the wires co=
nnecting to it.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
