Fuel pump check valve

I had this on my '87 5KTQ. It is because when things are cold, more fuel
is added. When things are warm, and the fuel pressure has bled off, not
enough gas gets in there. On the '87, I could actuate the cold start
injector for a few seconds, then fire it right up. Got better after
replacing the fuel pump (w/ check valve).
