Scott,
WRT to people bringing their own parts and getting pissed at the
mechanic when the parts are wrong, I agree w/ you. However, in that
regard, I always eat the cost of the parts and let my mechanic charge
me for finding out that the part was wrong, ordering and installing
the correct part and I'll deal with returning the wrong parts.
I think this whole discussion is rather silly- I don't have a problem
w/ online ordering (can be better due to less errors if the ordering
system eliminates hand transcription of orders), but vendors who don't
ship parts on-time or commit fraud need to be checked.
