Radiator Fan Removal

How hard (or easy) is it to remove and replace the radiator fan assembly
on the 91 200 20V for someone with decent amateur experience and most
standard tools but few special tools?  I searched the archives (couldn't
find much), but comments on Chris Miller's site about radiator removal
seem to suggest that the fan can be taken out without removing the
radiator.
