UFO retro-fit and random comments

Rakesh,

I think you'd be pretty much SOL. UFO's were only replaced with UrS4 mit
G60 setup after multiple complaints from the customer. This was never
considered a "routine" automatic upgrade. On the other hand, if the
customer came in and had the UFOs replaced 3 times in 6 months under
warranty, for instance, Audi would say, "Hey, this guy's costing us some
money, but we want our flagship customers (200q20v and Audi v8) to be happy
so let's look to a solution." Hence the UrS4 brake "upgrade." And before
you chastise the G60 being a downgrade rather than an upgrade, remember that
the UrS4/6 cars were pretty much the same weight/heavier than the 200q20v
and just a tad lighter than the v8. Aside from spirited track use, they are
perfectly adequate.

Unless, of course, you've chipped your car, put bigger wheels/tires (more
unsprung weight), etc...
