chipping 3B's

Todd,

I am really glad you came out with that. It is what this list is for and
what I feel it is all about. You are right. There are guys that do not
believe in tooting their own horn at all and just let their products speak
for themselves. Obviously Ned has made a lot of satisfied drivers or you
wouldn't be standing up for him.

I didn't mean to imply that silence was to be mistaken for lack of knowledge
or committment to this community. I guess my context is Europe where the
shops tend not to engage in discourse about their work. I don't mean giving
away secrets. I mean being free with info about the product you bought. I am
glad Ned is different. And I am glad you pointed it out.

Rich

I'll speak up for Ned Ritchie at Intended Acceleration.
Ned has spent countless hours testing his chips and has a host
of chips to meet anyone needs. Probably 95% of his chips sold
are of the Stage 3 or 3+ variety. The Difference being the 3+
has a 3bar Pressure Transducer and altered maps to accomodate
the extra boost. But He has also done chips to accomodate
larger turbos, higher rev limits, etc. For example, the most
powerful chip I've seen yet was for Alex N's 4ktq. With a T3/T4
Turbo that had clipped turbine fins for higher reving that car
was FAST. Ned and Alex spent days testing the car with numerous
different chip setups. The car was fast with the normal Stage
3+ but was MUCH faster when they were done. Probably around
450hp but I'm not quoting that. :-)
Anyhow, Since Ned doenst seem to be on this list right now I
though I'd speak up for him. I know he has MANY happy
customers.
I'm not saying anything agains Mihnea, he has obviously done
much research as well. Just posting another option. I know Ned
knows these ECU's VERY well. He doesnt like to actively promote
his products on these lists however as he sees it as
advertising. So, I'll speak up for him. For more info contact
him @ intendedacceleration.com
