I have a several-year-old "Viracon" that doesn't have particular distortion
near the a-pillar, but does have a small amount of horizontal thickness
variation...i.e. if one were to bob one's head up and down while looking
ahead at a fixed point, the objects at the fixed point appear to move
slightly. Hardly ever notice it whie driving, it would mostly be during
large pitch variations (I do try to avoid those, at high speed certainly).
