Steve: the Climate Control (CC) display does diagnostic functions as well.
While I haven't explored them all, force5 showed me some of the values/fields
(which are on channels 0,1,2,3,4,5 etc.....) Bentley book shows which two
buttons to hold down simulataniously to get this to work.
The flashing light tells you something has changed during the last trip/start.
The Avant I bought did this when I test drove it...and never again (so far)
The Avant was a deer strike with fender and hood fix and some sensors too.
Car is "fixed" and operating okay where I suspect the light hasn't come back
on because of its current status.
