speaking of the dreaded MFTS

Mike's recent post mentioning the MFTS came just hours after I
installed a new VDO 4-pin sensor (did it yesterday, while the PS pump
was removed for resealing, which offered a good opportunity to
install things like the MFTS and afterrun sensor). Anyway, Mike
stated that I "preferred" the 4-pin model because of better
longevity, but actually I only  pray that it will give better service
than the 3-pin versions I've used in the past. And I'm not even sure
about whom I should pray to: Audi gods? VDO gods (is that VooDOo?)
Does Bentley say anything about sacrificing a chicken on top of the
intake manifold?
