Acorn stuck in throttle linkage

I had one lodged by a squirrel.  Might have been my post.
Caused the throttle to go to 3K when I started the car.
I know your not supposed to "pump" the gas on FI cars but hey
they all need help right?
I figure that's how it (acorn) got under the throttle cam to stick it open.
Spray some deterent around the valve cover?
