Wheel refinishing

Gary,

I'm in the same boat with the OEM wheels.

When I bought my car, the clear coat on the wheel lips was badly pitted. So
I removed all the clear coat and polished them.

I think they look nice, but require Mothers wheel polish once every month or
two to keep them shiny.

I would love to find out if there is a clear coat out there that would work.

Anybody have any luck getting the OEM 200 20V wheels refinished?  I
cleaned up the pitting on the lip myself, but without clearcoat it is
tuff to maintain. I talked to a refinishing shop today about cleaning up
the lip and clearcoating it. He said it may not work due to porosity??
Caused by the pitting I assume. Just wondering about others experiences.
