Pat,
I don't believe that the 3B had an updaated part, as did the 7A.  I was told
that the 3B dealer only part is about $92.  If the upper part of the old
hose is relatively good, the straight part behind the block, as was mine,
two radiator hose ells from my scrapbox si caulked together reduced the
block nipple size to a just fit over the remaining straight section.
