Blau Wiring Harness for euro lights questions

I have yet to have or hear of an issue about running non DOT headlights, be it from an insurance company or yearly emissions and safety inspection.
If it comes down to cost, call the dealer and find out how much replacement DOT lights cost..You'll find out that it's a wash.

the "dot" lights are hazardous to the safety of the cars occupants as well as others on the road.  The european lights ( make sure that you get ones from the continent so the reflectors are set for driving on the right side of the road) have a crisp cutoff with a flare on the right to illuminate road signs.  properly set they are less blinding to an approaching car than the DOTs

the euro lights have h3 hibeams (dedicated) and H4 ( which has a hi and low beam filament) standard light switch on hi beam enables the H3 and the H4 Hi beam elements.

Do you really need the autocheck system to inform you that one headlight is out?  When you are running the Euros, the light output is not only greater , but much more efficient.  You will know when a light is out - you wont need the auto check to tell you.
