Bose security

I've found with my '95 S6 the time is cumulative, so 1/2 hour on the way to
work and 1/2 hour on the way home will do it.
I didn't even have to go to the dealer. I just called them with the radio
s/n and the car's VIN.
Unfortunately the code they gave me didn't work.
Since the PO had the radio replaced at the dealer with a reman, I figured
that it may have been recoded and the Audi database wasn't updated.
I asked the service writer if he could look at the invoice, since they
usually record the new code there.
Since the replacement was so long ago, he said that he didn't have access to
that record.
He also swore up and down that if the code that was in the Audi database
didn't work, the radio must be broken and would be happy to sell me another
one.
Well I decided to play the radio code lottery, guessing 2 random numbers
every day.
I after a few days I got it. What was the code you ask? 0000
