Clicking relay

My '91 100 quattro has had the clicking problem for several years, it only
happens when the seat heaters are turned on and the clicking starts when
the element reaches the selected temperature range.  I figure it is a relay
(worn out?) problem, and I think, in my case,  it has happened with both
seats.  It is somewhat annoying, but not enough yet, to put it in a
priority status on the fix-it list.
My '91 200 quattro so far is OK.

'91 200 20v tq avant, 114k miles
'91 100 quattro sedan, 195k miles
