Rear muffler hangers

The two rear metal muffler hangers, which are welded to the car
body, simply broke off recently. Why both and why both at the
same time remains a mystery. I am now faced with replacing or
fixing the hangers so the muffler can be properly suspended. I
suspect these are dealer only items that I will need to weld to
the body.

Anybody been through this one?
