bernie strut brace

HI listers I know this question is old and been through the mill,but I recently replaced all 6 bushings on the bottom of the car(subframe ,tranny) and at the same time I want to correctly install the bernie strut brace.what holes do I make a little bigger so that the brace could push outword ,the ones in the strut towers themselves or the plates that sit on top of the struts that are maxed out allready?
