Pray that it isn't.  I had a seam split on my tank. (Another
reason my car is named what it is).  Sourcing a new tank
is expensive.  My mechanic had a used one available (!).
Replacing it is a 8-10 hour job, as the rear diff has to be
dropped.

Maybe it's just a loose hose connection.
