This afternoon, decided to do some delayed work on the 200q20v sedan.
Pulled the headlights; installed the used euros I'd picked up.
Drained the coolant; changed the thermostat, changed the leaking afterrun
pump.
Changed the crankcase breather hose to a newer but used one.
Tightened the middle connection in the pump-to-bomb line; hopefully that will
stop the pentosin leak.
some other misc stuff, including rewiring the relay harness for the lights
(one set of relays hooked up backwards; easy once I retraced everything;
should have not trusted the used setup...).
Refilled coolant, ran car to bleed cooling system. Low speed fan isn't
working... hmm. no power to fan; relays seem fine. Shut down car, jumper
afterrun temp switch; low speed fan and pump runs.
So, fan resister etc. work fine. So, why isn't the low speed fan running
with A/C, and why didn't the middle speed fan come on?
Called it a night; I'll diagnose some more tomorrow.
Chris
