Folks:

I just did my part and sent Dan a paypal contribution.

What Dan is asking for is a fraction of the money that I have saved over the years,.
Through the lists, I learned to repair my own car using other listers detailed instructions and patient guidance,
I started buying audi parts from Linda at Carlsen audi with a 20% list discount.
I "found" Scott Mockry and his wonderful website.
I "found" Rod Ramsey at The Parts Connection, and Mac at Clair Parts Connection.
I found out that Torsen opinions vary ;^)
That one can drink a pint outside a English Pub, but probably not a good idea outside Redbones in Sommerville.
That weird things can happen at Mt Washington.
not to mention the friends that I have made since first joining the quattro list in <gasp> 1994.
or did Paul Royal, Ian Duff, Bob Damato, Chris Miller, Chick Wells, Mike Sylvester, Mark Besso, etc...find me?

So the next time you find yourself happy that you did not have to pay full price at the dealer for parts and service, because you got parts at a discount, and one of the lists helped you do the repair or upgrade yourself, consider taking some of that money that you saved and sending it to Dan.
